Numerology

Q: What is Numerology?  (Answer by Dr Daisy)

Ans: The science of Numerology is as old as human civilization. Our ancestors & even the present generation to a large extent consults priests or astrologers to select an appropriate name for a new born child according to Ank-shashtra, Moon-Nakshatra, other conditions in one’s astrological chart & divine messages received by such a spiritual person . Because everyone of us are consciously or subconsciously aware that a well chosen name is supposed to attract strength & good luck that can assist in making one's life happy and successful.

Numerology is the part of the esoteric sciences that combine Astrology and Mathematics (although mathematics and astronomy are intrinsic part of Astrology, I decided to mention it here to bring the point home) to give predictions and recommendations. Numbers are a universal way of communicating. They have a language of their own & in Numerology each letter has a different meaning because of the energy associated with it. The sum of the numbers in your Birth Date and the sum of the value derived from the letters in the Name provide an inter relation of vibrations. These numbers show a great deal about character, purpose in life, motivations & where talents may lie and can be nurtured. The first letters of name, surname etc exert special forces. The way names (personal, organizational or country-name) are represented by signature, logos, flags etc also create distinctive vibrations. A numerologist can help you with many such aspects. Many corporate companies, political parties etc have approached me & benefited from these consultations.

The numerological total of the name should be well in harmony with the date of birth and horoscope of the person. Also the initials (first letters) matter in special matters. Some people are asked to alter their spellings, some others are simply advised to go by their initials. Some of my clients have thanked me as they had a baby after years of wait with the help of numerology. Some have had their businesses flourished after the appropriate spelling changes. Understand that I simply suggest numerological changes according to the principles taught to me by great masters. In spite of studying of related scriptures & years of experience, some times, even I am not aware of ALL the constructive results that one may obtain from following my suggestions. I always appreciate feedback of clients via emails /feedback forms /testimonials.

Q: What are the benefits of Numerology?

Ans: Numbers are symbols (and for that matter, any written /printed matter – Aksharas that symbolize all the sounds that are born from the sound of the Universe Aum – is symbol)  that generate certain vibrations and energy channels that are responsible for major and minor changes in a person’s life. This subject is also touched upon in Sakun Shashtra & Symbolism.

Numerology is intricately related to other astrological sciences like tarot reading, astro-chart analysis, etc and should ideally be studied or consulted in conjunction with these. All of us are born with a purpose, and birth details (date, time & location) indicate the karmic influences on us from our previous births. These strongly influence the course of our present lives. And, the name, like birth details, creates its own vibrations names (alphabets also being symbols in that particular language, vibrating at the auric level, have powerful vibrations co-relating to particular charkas /planets that influencing us & our environments), and affects the path of our lives. Nothing happens by chance. Everything takes place due to energies that are constantly changing around our non-changing souls.

Numerology helps us to:

  • See ourselves more clearly
  • Identify our personality type
  • Realize our talents and strengths
  • See how we can best accomplish our destiny
  • Discover what lessons we came to learn in this lifetime
  • Understanding transitions and changes
  • Understanding others
  • Understanding cycles that our lives follow
  • Understanding and surmounting challenging events and people
  • Reaping benefits from latent talent

One of numerology’s greatest gifts is that it teaches us tolerance and acceptance of others, as well as who we are ourselves. We achieve a more objective view of our lives, and from this we can make better choices for how to live it.

Numerology helps an individual to detect favorable numbers and wean out the ones that may obstruct one’s path or lead one to a goal-less path. It can do these by extensive methods to find out one’s lucky numbers, days, months, years, colors, towns, etc.

The parameters to be considered are : Date, Month & Year of Birth & Name; Day of Birth & the Time of Birth, First Name, Surname & other parts of name according to your culture. Even if one of these parameters are not included, the input system itself will be incomplete. If any of these factors (say, the time of birth) is not available, there are Clairvoyant methods to see through this if one’s unseen healing guides advise so.

Q: Why can’t I change my name after reading a book on Numerology?

Ans: Ank-shashtra /Numerology is a branch of Vedic Astrology. Without the proper knowledge of Astrology, it is unwise to practice Numerology. For example, according to numerology,  the name number is to come to 21 – the Jupiter’s number, but when look in her /his astrological chart, the Jupiter is debilitated. In such a case, one will be advised to change the name number to 21, only to invite troubles. It is very disheartening at times to see numerologists practicing numerology without the required study of Astrological charts.

Q: How does numerology correspond to tarot, astrology, chakras etc.?

Ans: Numerology i.e. Ank Shastra is derived from Vedic Astrology. Tarot too corresponds with Astrology. Astrology puts a lot of emphasis on birth-date, birth-time, etc which give relationship of the individual to various planets, & each planet in turn has its own number!

With Tarot, we have a similar story. Look at any pack of Tarot cards. Each card of the major arcana carries a number from 0 to 22, and the four suits of the minor arcana are numbered 1 to 10, so any serious reading of the cards should take account of the numbers that go with them.

There are different ways of relating numbers to Chakras: depending upon the functioning of  charkas & related endocrine glands, different but interlinked vibrations are generated by these charkas. And these vibrations again coincide with the vibrations of various numbers.

The figure of '8' symbolizes the human being as the great conduit for the movement of spirit into matter and back again (top to bottom & back to top). Thus, numerology gets also associated with symbolism.

In fact, all these divination and healing modalities are interconnected in their essence, different only in their terminologies and mode of unfolding information.

Q: I have changed my name /name spelling as per Numerology. Do I need to make sure that all the people I know are informed about it? (Answer by Dr Daisy)

Ans: Yes. When YOU pronounce your name (with the corrected spelling), your name vibrations are activated and REACH OUT to the person/s you are talking to. The same goes for the written name;  the alphabets as symbols emit vibrations affecting reader’s eyes & subconscious minds creating favorable effect.

But what about other people you are linked with? Can you talk with every other person about your changed name? What about people whom you knew in the past but are not on speaking terms now?  What about people whom you have no knowledge of & can’t reach, but who know you? How will your altered personal vibrations reach them?

The conclusion is that you need an Energy Tool exclusively programmed for you by a qualified numerologist to keep transmitting your changed personal name vibrations 24/7 to all those who are currently involved with you, involved with you in your past and going to be involved with you in future. Then you can reap the full benefits of the corrected name vibrations.

After diagnosing the full range of inputs and scanning your karmic vibrations, I arrive at the primary objectives to be achieved and the negatives to be shed. These steps are then programmed into a healing combination of symbols and energized. Now these symbols will be broadcasting 24/7 the personalized vibrations that will reach all the persons you need to deal with, to your benefits. It could be an estranged business partner, a dear friend who had misunderstood you, a good old customer who had disappeared, a relative who hates you, your future mentor etc.

Q: I have changed my name as per Numerology. Accordingly, I have changed my signature too, with the help of an esteemed graphologist. Shall I have to change my name & signature in government documents, share certificates, gazette, etc?

Ans: Yes, because you are forced to announce the name change and it will have it's own definite legal implications. The same goes for your signature. You have to go through all the red tape and spend time and money in these procedures. . It is specially true if your horoscope chart shows malefic Sun or Pitrudosha (ancestral problems).

Q: I had my birth name tuned with a popular Numerologist. He adviced me to write and rewrite my tuned name 48 times a day, for at least the next 21 days - for empowerment, he said. I find it laborious and it also eats into my precious time. Is it worth it ?

Ans: Totally. The name vibrations should be empowered by carving it on subconscious mind by various means like writing it, painting it, making a song out of it, program it in your & others’ minds with crystals, etc This is very essential to gain maximum benefits from Numerology.

Q: I had my company's name changed as per Numerology after a heavy slump in it's fortunes. Now I am forced to re-advertise the newly tuned name. Is there a way out ?

Ans: To gain full benefits of Numerology, announcing new name of the company appropriately with the full-fledged guidance from a numerologist (days on which you should advertise, days on which you should start distributing pamphlets, visiting cards etc, the colors you should use in prints of these materials, logo design, website name, layout & color-scheme of website etc) will reduce your advertising expenses. All the expenses will be proven worthwhile later.

Also for the people you can’t inform, you may ask your numerologist for an Energy Tool to ensure that vibrations of the new company name reach them.

Tarot Cards Reading

Q: What are the benefits of Tarot Cards Reading?

Ans: The benefits of Tarot can broken down into following defined tarot notions:

  1. The notion of inner self: Tarot speaks to the private, sacred nature of ours.
  2. The notion of ‘What Covers You’: Tarot helps you to better understand the depth and breadth of the current situation around you.
  3. The notion of ‘What Crosses You’: Tarot triggers the ability in you to recognize the roadblocks and obstacles in your path.
  4. The notion of ‘Your Foundation’: Tarot brings up the images and archetypes existing not only on paper, but in our conscious and unconscious being.
  5. The notion of ‘What Crowns You’: Tarot helps you tune in to your higher self and live up to your higher ideals.
  6. The notion of ‘Your Past’: Tarot helps you see the impact of past on present & future due to our sheer nature of repeating our mistakes & also our achievements. It also helps remedy problems arising from such behavioral problems.
  7. The notion of ‘Your Future’: Tarot aids to creating the future.
  8.  The notion of ‘Your sense of self’: Tarot is a tool for developing a strong self-image, and good self-esteem.
  9. The notion of ‘You & your Surroundings’: Tarot is a tool to help you see yourself in relation with others, and to see how others see you.
  10. The notion of ‘Your Hopes and Fears’: Tarot strengthens your ability to recognize what your hopes and fears are, and the ability to then articulate them.
  11. The notion of ‘Most Likely Outcome’: Tarot is a tool to see where your current course is taking you, and what you may want to change to achieve your desired goals.

Tarot taps into the deep recesses of our subconscious mind and unveils the truth of our experiences. Sometimes when we become scattered, it can be difficult to decipher this truth. Tarot quite often confirms what we are already feeling. It assists, by pulling us up and guiding us back to trusting our gut feelings or intuition.

Tarot cards are beautiful, visually appealing, numerologically intriguing and intuition-channeling intrument. It has totally 78 cards, out of which 22 are of major importance called major arcana and other 56 are minor arcana denoting four elements of life in their various forms. Cards subconsciously drawn by a querent reflect her /his subconsious mind, the energies of which are responsible in creating and molding her /his life. Thus, through tarot cards we take a pick into one’s subconscious mind, in order to make predictions and get guidance. We may also choose to meditate on cards drawn by us, to study ourselves and in the process, become more self-aware.

Graphology

Q: What is Graphology?

Ans: Graphology is the study and analysis of handwriting, especially in relation to human psychology. In the medical field, it can be used to refer to the study of handwriting as an aid in diagnosis and tracking of diseases of the brain and nervous system. The term is sometimes incorrectly used to refer to forensic document examination. The latter is concerned with establishing the authenticity of writing and signatures, and such analysts are frequently called upon to make judgments in legal situations although police authorities have been known to hire graphologists to analyze the writing of criminals.

Empirical interpretation of handwriting dates back to ancient times. Aristotle claimed that he could define a person's soul by his way of writing. Graphology was systematized in nineteenth-century France when the Abbé Flandrin (1809-64) made a detailed study of autographs.

Although modern graphologists have evolved a scientific rationale that assigns particular significance to the slope of handwriting, the formation of individual letters, size of characters, joinings and disjoinings of letters, and so on, interpretation remains largely subjective and allows considerable room for the practitioner's psychic ability to operate and add material. Some graphologists allow the handwriting itself to convey impressions in much the same way as objects function in psychometry. Perhaps one's signature is the most characteristic piece of handwriting, for consciously or unconsciously it becomes a kind of symbolic self-portrait, indicating the personality as a whole.

Q: What are the scientific tenets that forms the base of graphology?

Ans: Graphology is based upon the following basic assertions:

1) The muscular movements involved in writing are controlled by the central nervous system. The form of the resultant writing movement is modified further by the flexibly assembled coordinative structures in the hand, arm, and shoulder; which follow the principles of dynamical systems. The specific writing organ (mouth, foot, hand, crook of elbow) is irrelevant if it functions normally and is sufficiently adapted to its function.

2) When the action of writing is comparatively difficult, the writer uses those forms of letters which are simpler or more familiar.

3) When we write, the ego is active but it is not always active to the same degree. Its activity waxes and wanes; being at its highest level when an effort has to be made by the writer and at its lowest level when the motion of the writing organ has gained momentum and is driven by it.

4) The movements and corresponding levels of muscular tension in writing are mostly outside of conscious control and subject to the ideomotor effect. Emotion, mental state, and biomechanical factors such as muscle stiffness and elasticity are reflected in a person's handwriting.

5) The neurophysiological mechanisms which contribute to the written movement are related to conditions within the central nervous system and vary in accordance with them. The written strokes, therefore, reflect both transitory and long term changes in the central nervous system such as Parkinson's disease, or alcohol usage.

One must examine the handwriting or drawing movements by considering them as movements organized by the central nervous system and produced under biomechanical and dynamical constraints. Given these considerations, graphologists proceed to evaluate the pattern, form, movement, rhythm, quality, and consistency of the graphic stroke in terms of psychological interpretations.

Q: What are the benefits of Graphology?

Ans: Graphology is very helpful to understand one’s subconscious mind that directs one’s hands to move in a specific manner. It is yet another method to know our subconscious mind.

Ø       It is an important tool for self-awareness. Similarly, it can be helpful to understand others.

Ø       It is helpful for match-making in marriage as we can check compatibility between people through their handwritings.

Ø       It gives insights into child-development. If parents want to find out if they are bringing up their child in a wholistic manner, they can check their own & child’s handwriting, & find the interlinking factors. For the similar reasons, it is very helpful for teachers, therapists etc.

Utilizing this method of character assessment has several advantages in assisting corporations and organizations:

Ø       Employees can gain insights into their own personalities, giving them a better understanding of themselves and others. A detailed employee character assessment can be used as a working document for self development and professional growth.

Ø       Strengths and weaknesses can be identified, as well as areas of potential talents and skills.

Ø       Communications between and within employee teams can be enhanced.

This method is objective, non-threatening, non-discriminatory and time-efficient. Some people are very successful at job interviews, or putting on a front to people that isn't their true self. Companies can waste money hiring people who are unsuitable for the job. As a result, now-a-days, corporations and other organizations now use Graphology widely as an integral component of personnel hiring and development.

Psychic Self-Defense

Q : Does a practitioner of divination & healing methods need to be careful about any un-seen energies? OR Why is psychic self defense part of all the three Spiritual Arts Courses?

Ans: Whenever you provide a reading for someone (the same goes true when you heal someone), you open yourself to another person's life. You can be affected by this on many levels: physical, emotional, mental, psychic/spiritual, consciously and unconsciously. Whether you attribute this to thoughts, feelings and memories that were provoked within you during their session, or to a psychic transference of energy from the querent to you, there can be pronounced after-effects from a reading. When you have not properly filtered psychic energy you can find yourself feeling irritable, anxious, depressed, morose, drained, and/or preoccupied with the querent's situation and/or with similar details from your own life.

Therefore, it is wise to apply some psychic self-defense techniques to your Tarot /Astrological /Aura Reading practice or to the practice of other divination methods. For that matter, it is wise to apply psychic self-defense while meditating and during healing when you open yourself to subtle lesser-known supernatural energies.

Note: Even Grahas are spirits that communicate with sincere astrologers.

Psychic self-defense is a must for psychically sensitive people. Learning to handle one's intuitions, visions (how many times you've heard someone say' "I knew about my father's death before it happened. But didn't know what to do? I was totally shattered”), people's intrusion in your private time (many times, I come across people on my journey, who, while I am brushing my teeth, want me to tell them something about their future from their palms!), horrid publicity campaigns of consumer products, etc. Even when you enlist help of your spiritual angels, you need to make sure that they are your spiritual angels & not some wandering depressive spirit or worse. So, learning to distinguish & protect yourselves is important.

Also, psychic well-being and psychic self-defence are two sides of the same coin, just as are physical health and resistance to disease. Each person (and every living thing) is surrounded by an electromagnetic force field, or AURA that can provide the means to psychic self-defence and to dynamic well-being.

Meditations

Q : What are the benefits of meditations?

Ans: Some of the benefits of meditation are:

  •  Reduces anxiety attacks as it lowers the levels of blood lactate
  • Greater orderliness of brain functioning
  • Reduced need for medical care
  • Increased creativity
  • Broader comprehension and improved ability to focus
  • Reduction in cholesterol
  • Increased self-actualization
  • It lowers oxygen consumption
  • It decreases respiratory rate
  • It increases blood flow and slows the heart rate
  • Increases exercise tolerance in heart patients
  • Leads to a deeper level of relaxation
  • Good for people with high blood pressure as it brings the B.P. to normal.
  • Reduces anxiety attacks by lowering the levels of blood lactate
  • Helps in chronic diseases like allergies , arthritis etc
  • Helps in post-operative healing
  • Enhances the immune system. Research has revealed that meditation increases activity of 'natural-killer cells', which kill bacteria and cancer cells
  • Also reduces activity of viruses and emotional distress
  • Builds self confidence
  • Increases serotonin which influences moods and behavior. Low levels of serotonin are associated with depression, obesity, headaches and insomnia
  • Enhances energy, strength and vigor
  • Helps keep blood pressure normal
  • Reduces stress and tension
  • Creates a state of deep relaxation and general feeling of well-being
  • Helps with P.M.T.

If you practice regularly, the benefits of meditation will promote a sense of calm and control, you’ll feel far more relaxed and happy. Your ability to concentrate will be greater. You won’t become stressed about things and you’ll feel more peaceful and relaxed about everything. One of the greatest benefits of meditation is learning to go with the flow and things that used to irritate you before simply become insignificant.

There are a number of meditation techniques for effective meditation. Reiki, Psychic Self- defense etc involve certain degree of meditative state. Practice of Yoga in accordance with Yoga Sutras can take a person to highest meditative state reaching Kaivalya.

Q: Are there any pitfalls of meditations?

Ans: It is possible. If one meditates overwhelmingly, it overwhelms & irritates nervous system. So, as a solution, the saints who have devoted their lives on this path walk a lot & remain busy in practical rituals to ground these overwhelming energies. Many of these meditate while going through their day-to-day activities.

In Shad-darshanas, it is mentioned that it is absolutely necessary to maintain a balance between 4 purushaarthas: Dharma (duties), Artha (financial activities), Kaama (sensory entertainment) & Moksha (freedom from previous mentioned purushaarthas) for a householder (the one involved with worldly activities). For the ones who are totally devoted to spiritual path, the 2nd & 3rd purushaarthas are to omitted. If one creates imbalance in activities involving these purushaarthas, there is an imbalance in nervous energies, hormones & charkas, creating problems. So, in the initial stages of practicing meditations, it is wiser to be under an expert’s supervision.

Q: Why is meditation part of all the three Spiritual Arts courses? (Answer by Dr Daisy)

Ans: With the practice of divination & healing methods, a lot of information about the Universe, about our karmas become available to us. To handle this responsibly & constructively, one needs to be in balanced state of mind. When overwhelmed due to deep insights into secrets of our existence, even professional healers & many astrologers find it difficult to be regular in their personal healing practices. For example, recently when a client came to me for help, it was to find out how to deal with auras that she began to see after an aura reading training from London. She didn’t know how not to react to the secrets she received in her aura reading practice in spite of repeated remark from her teacher about not to react to what she sees, but use it constructively for her clients & for her own wholistic progress.

For this purpose, it is important to learn & practice suitable form of meditation. I find Yoga sutras to be a particularly helpful theory in reaching higher meditative stages & in handling challenges on the way. But due to time constraints, the Yoga sutras are fully covered in Spiritual Arts Course 3 only
